Sony has confirmed it will once again be hosting a press conference at Gamescom this year.
The hardware giant?s conference will take place on August 20, a day before the show kicks off, at the Saatenhaus am Rheinpark in Cologne. Sony?s presser will get underway at 7.00 p.m. CET/6.00 p.m. GMT.
Sony is expected to reveal more software and details and its next-generation console, the PlayStation 4, at the event as well as the PlayStation Vita. Earlier this month the company teased on Twitter that it had some big plans in store for both systems at Gamescom.
In previous years, Sony has used its Gamescom press event to unveil hardware such as the PlayStation Slim (2009), as well as various titles including Resistance 3 (2010).
