The City of Bowling Green Municipal Golf Courses are trying to help you score this holiday season!
They're offering discounts if you use a new texting service.
Those who sign up to receive text messages can bring their phone to Crosswinds or Paul Walker Golf Course on Black Friday Nov. 23 to receive 10% off all gift card purchases that day and a $5 off coupon for a round of golf that is good from November 23 through June 30, 2013.
Discounts aren't the only things the service provides golfers.
"Updates about weather...or if our courses have closed, or maybe just a downtime on the course where there's not a lot of people around and you can come out and play and have a little bit more freedom, maybe if you're learning the game. So we're really trying to reach out to people and show people how much fun golf can be and how much they can enjoy it," said City of Bowling Green Public Information Officer Kim Lancaster.
