Chances are Justin Moore considers Charlotte his?favorite place. ?Why? ?Because every time he shows his 5?6? self, he packs the house. ?This time was no different as the ?Til My Last Day? singer sold out Coyote Joe?s weeks before the show date. ?With thousands of excited country fans waiting for Justin?s return to the stage, Big Sexy had a few minutes to catch up with him for another rendition of B.S. Backstage.
?We don?t play too many clubs anymore,? Justin admits early in the interview, mentioning that they?ve outgrown most country clubs around the country. ??It?s exciting we?ve outgrown them but at the same time there?s a handful of them across the country that hold a special place in our heart like Coyote Joe?s.? ?But that?s no surprise, seeing as Coyote Joe?s always brings in the most rowdy and biggest country fans in the Carolinas. ?But when Justin?s not playing small clubs around the country, he?s touring with some pretty big names. ?Recently he was on tour with local favorite Eric Church, whose arena tours have packed houses across the country.
So what did Justin learn from working with Eric on the road? ??Not a damn thing,? he jokes instantly with a laugh before backtracking to his real answer. ??I think we?ve learned a little bit from everybody we?ve been on tour with.? ?Hopefully what Justin learned was how to handle a new baby while chugging a beer, changing a diaper and meeting fans. ?So far, so good!
While fatherhood has been a highlight of Justin?s life for the past three years, we had to ask about his upcoming music! ?It?s been two years since Justin released a new album, his last was?Outlaws Like Me in 2009, but it seems fans don?t have much longer to wait. ??I?ve tracked all 16 songs and I?ve sang quite a few of them,? he tells Big Sexy exclusively. ? ?We should have a new single out in a couple weeks.?
